Staff members inside the White House are usually heavily scrutinized and checked before they are allowed to hold any kind of position inside the official residence and principal workplace of the President of the United States. However, reports have revealed that a new set of FBI background checks was apparently run for all White House staffers, which resulted in the removal of six employees.

Late last week, the six White House staffers were reportedly removed from their positions, according to the latest reports. An FBI background check and several other investigative questionnaires were apparently included in the latest filtering of employees, which was aimed at improving the overall security inside the White House.

Out of the six employees that failed the background check, only one has been identified. The former White House director of scheduling, Caroline Wiles, had apparently resigned prior to the releasing of the test results. Her sudden resignation is claimed by some reports as a sign that she might have already known the outcome of the background check. Wiles is the daughter of President Donald Trump’s campaign manager in Florida, Susan Wiles.

According to Politico, those who were directly affected had apparently failed the SF86 test, a standard Questionnaire for National Security Positions. The SF86 encompasses a lot of aspects about a specific employee, which includes his or her credit score, substance and medical background, and other personal information.

Answers placed on the questionnaire are also compared to actual findings uncovered in separate investigations and background checks. Should a discrepancy be found, action is immediately taken. A report from Daily Wire reveals that not all of the cases involving the apparent discrepancies will include a personal interview. This means that employees don’t really get a chance to discuss or explain the variances found between the questionnaire results and the background check findings.

The White House has yet to issue an official statement regarding the removal of the six staffers. There is also no official details yet of which particular aspect of the background check had disqualified them from their positions.
